台灣的Claessens畫布市場始終一團亂，你說我賣的是假的，我說你賣的是仿的，看不下去，直接請比利時Claessens廠商說明不就好了，花了幾周的書信往返，取得幾個重要資訊，其中最重要的是確定Claessens在台灣的代理商是誰，就是「萬順美術社」，是地～就是這間，土撥鼠可沒幫店家打廣告，只是希望大家掏錢買畫布能安心，以下是Claessens的回信內容。
We have an agent/distributor in Taiwan with who we have a very good relationship for many years now.

另外有網友詢問Claessens NO.161的畫布，據他們說這是「better value」的型號，與210cm的NO.166相比，寬度較窄，只有150cm，但製作程序與品質一樣，不過NO.161並沒有放在Claessens的網站上，所以土撥鼠一開始還以為是山寨版，現在確定是正版，若沒有要畫太大張的需求，NO.161是好選擇，以下是廠商回應內容：
Dear,
Thank you for your message.
It is correct that the claessens canvas no161 is one of our canvases. It’s a ‘better value’, 1,50m wide canvas. Nevertheless, it gets the same treatments as all our canvases, being 2 coats of glue followed by 2 coats of universal primer.
But indeed it is not listed on our website. Since we don’t sell this to all our dealers, we don’t publish it on our website.
